We met in February in Tenerife on a terrace in a little bar in Poris de Abona. You were so kind to offer us a place at your table on an overcrowded terrace. What followed was a pleasant evening in which you told us a hundred about the trips you made, about life and about what made life beautiful for you. It was the last night of our trip for us, but it was an evening that we will not soon forget and that we still remember a lot about.
We also remembered your travel tips well. That is why we wanted to let you know that we are going to Madeira this summer on your advice! We are already looking forward to it. We hope all is well with you and wish you a healthy 2025 with many beautiful trips and other moments.

The Levada hikes there are very varied. You should definitely do one. The Green Cauldron.
(Caldeiro Verde) and further to the Caldeirao do Inferno. The hikes are well described in the Rother hiking guide.
There are many tunnels. Please remember to bring lamps. There are 50 beautiful tours in the book.
